My Bio

I’m an interdisciplinary artist based in Utah working in film, photography, illustration and graphic design. I’m twice an alumni of ACCD (MFA / BFA) and of Ricks College (AAS).

My style is diverse and there are a few things that they have in common: detail, texture, color strategy, composition exploration to name a few. Whether I am working on a painting or a photograph, the same principles apply.

I was raised as an Army Brat and primarily living overseas throughout my youth. And all throughout my youth I drew, painted and experimented in different mediums.

It appears that I am less nomadic because I’ve been in this state for over ten years. I have visited several countries and lived in many states. But these mountains here in Utah are stunning.

But during those many changes, the spirit of drawing and painting died. It snuck up on me while I was in progress on my illustration degree. I was working hard on learning, but then something stopped working inside, which just made me work harder. I haven't drawn or painted like before in so many years. I can draw and paint if I wanted. Its not that the skill isn't there. Its a bit rusty. Its the connection that is gone. However, I have picked up other talents, such as working in film and photography. Neither feed me soul like drawing did, but they do satisfy portions of me and I'm not half bad at it either. As for

I am always adding to my email list. If you are interested in being on my list for the web site or the art work, please contact me. I'm open for paid commissions. I draw, paint (both traditionally & digitally), create photo manips, and much more. Please review my work on my site. I do have a page of my past work on my s

Oh, this and that. Staying busy and trying to get the side business going strong enough so that I can stop working for the man.
well, trying to get back into things. I am teaching at the art institute which keeps me sorta busy. I need to get back to doing art again.
